Hawaiian Dreams, better known as HD, is a Brazilian brand that emerged in the early 1980s to convey the spirit of surfing and other related sports. It has evolved to also represent skateboarding and streetwear, always with an original approach focused on those seeking adventure and an active lifestyle. The brand sponsors surfer Adriano de Souza, known as Mineirinho, the 2015 world champion.
The brand draws inspiration from diverse elements, such as music, art, games, and technology, to create collections that reflect a youthful and connected lifestyle. The brand seeks to dress people who enjoy sports, new things, and who want to explore new paths, enjoying life's best moments.
The challenges of this project were to update and modernize the brand design without losing its identity. To achieve this, we made a smooth transition through an intermediate design and also ensured that the logo reads well when used in small sizes. Project made in collaboration with Creative Supply during a period of work at Mero Studio.
